ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out technical assignments to install, modify, troubleshoot and repair/replace our laser based medical equipment and systems

Efficiently complete standard equipment documentation and reports

Provide customers with timely and accurate technical information in a positive and straightforward manner

Disassemble malfunctioning systems and hand pieces to examine and test mechanisms for defects

Calibrate equipment according to manufacturers’ recommendations and other established guidelines

Collaborate constantly with team members to find solutions to equipment problems

Work cross functionally with the buying team, service and inventory

Follow current equipment guidelines and compliance standards to ensure a safe operational environment


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience servicing medical equipment 
  • Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical and electronic systems (laser and optics)
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to simplifying complex situations
  • Possesses knowledge of electrical safety theory, and performs electrical safety testing on biomedical instrumentation
  • Independent thinker and problem solver with the ability make technical decisions that best support the customer when performing tasks in the field
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be in office Monday-Friday in Park City, UT
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time 
  • Experience working with Candela Lasers preferred
