CO2 laser resurfacing is the gold standard for non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment. The Jeisys Edge CO2 Face Laser is one of the most versatile and advanced CO2 lasers available. The Edge ONE  fractional CO2 laser is the only technology that can perform a VanityPeel™ — using EDGE Pulse mode, an advanced skin treatment that reduces the appearance of fine lines, sun damage, and pores while improving skin texture, all with minimal to zero downtime. The VanityPeel™ leverages the exclusive EDGE Pulse, a high-peak-power very-short pulse that delivers a laser treatment with minimal thermal damage to surrounding tissue. FAQs

What is CO2 laser resurfacing?

A CO2 resurfacing laser enables aesthetic providers to achieve more dramatic skin rejuvenation results than utilizing non-ablative lasers. Ablative lasers, such as CO2 facial lasers, work by emitting a powerful laser beam that will ablate the outer layer of the epidermis. While the ablation happens on the outer layer of skin, the thermal energy also heats the deeper layers of skin, which stimulates the body’s natural response to produce collagen and elastin over time. The treatment will result in refreshed, more natural-looking skin, and improved skin tone and texture. This is a more invasive procedure with longer recovery times, but there are no alternative treatments that can match the results gained through a CO2 fractional laser.

How does a Fractional CO2 Laser Work?

Fractional CO2 lasers work by creating micro columns of ablation that target both the epidermal and dermal layers. Compared to a full CO2 resurfacing, a fractional treatment will only remove a fraction of the skin layer, resulting in a quicker treatment with less downtime. There are many excellent brands of fractional CO2 lasers on the market that can deliver fractional ablative treatments effectively and with minimum downtime. Conversely, a cool peel CO2 laser treatment does not deliver much thermal damage to surrounding tissue compared to more aggressive CO2 skin resurfacing because of its ability to deliver energy in very short pulses.

Ultimately, most CO2 lasers can finely control the pulse energy, depth and percent area coverage, so that practitioners can custom-tailor treatments with precision and safety. The majority of CO2 fractional laser or laser resurfacing treatments are ideal for addressing skin rejuvenation blemishes such as fine lines and wrinkles, sun-damaged skin, scars, and uneven skin tone, texture and laxity.

What are the benefits of purchasing a new CO2 laser?

Purchasing a new laser CO2 or fractional CO2 laser can expand your practice capability to offer a full range of skin rejuvenation treatments to your patients, ranging from full-resurfacing to light peels. CO2 lasers can generate a good ROI for your practice and tend to retain value in the long term.

Moreover, buying a new CO2 laser means taking advantage of complete manufacturer support with warranty, service, clinical training and practice marketing.

What are the benefits of purchasing a used CO2 laser?
